The Great Escape:
Clambake 1998
On August 29, 1998 we had the Commodore's Clambake. There were 58 lobsters present at the beginning of the day. 25 were sent to the pots right away. The other 33 lobsters were put into a holding trap off of the dock. When it was their time, the trap was hauled and only 3 dead lobsters remained in the trap. Anyone in the vicinity of the CYC Raft or in Boston Harbor, be on the lookout for 30 Lobsters. They are not armed are considered to be tasty. At the time of their escape they were still banded.
